Center for Research in Faith and Health in Denmark is a local research initiative housed in the Research Unit Health, Man and Society under the Institute of Public Health at the University of Southern Denmark (SDU).
The Center forms part of the Network for Research in Faith and Health and centers on the same aims. Thus, it has the same background and purpose of strategically advancing the research in Faith and Health in the Northern Countries.
It presently holds four ph.d.-students with more coming that are presented under the tab Center Projects. The projects are financed partly by various grants (2/3) and partly from the Faculty of Health Sciences of the University of Southern Denmark (1/3).
The Center hosts monthly seminars that are open to all interested participants in the larger Network for Research in Faith and Health.

The Center for Research in Faith and Health hosts monthly seminars that are open to all in the Network for Research in Faith and Health. These seminars will be on various subjects with occasional input of Danish and International scholars, the latter often through video conferences.
On June 22nd 10.00-14.00, Christian Balslev van Randwijk will speak about The Social Scientific Concept of Discourse, with particular reference to Ernesto Laclau, Chantal Mouffe, and Jacques Lacan.
